Project Background
A U.S. spectral instrument brand developed new desktop spectrophotometers, requiring multi-hole transparent quartz substrates. Their technical standard demanded 0.1mm tiny holes with flatness error under 0.01mm. Ordinary processors produced chipped holes and light defects that failed quality inspection.
Our Solution
1. 99.99% high-purity quartz blank with double-sided mirror polishing.
2. CNC laser micro-drilling, no edge chipping or hidden cracks on tiny holes.
3. Three full inspection procedures before delivery: hole size, flatness, light transmittance & appearance to eliminate defective products.
4. Provide acid & alkali resistance test report for lab chemical application.
Cooperation Result
Small trial batch passed anti-corrosion and optical tests at the first time. We reached long-term supporting supply agreement with monthly repeated orders of drilled quartz plates and cuvettes, becoming their core optical accessory supplier.
